We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming...

Update:-)
I have been known to freak out when it comes to my kids.  My niece tested positive for the flu this Morning.  The kids and I saw them late last week.  My daughter started congestion yesterday and today with a cough.  I called the doc, they kinda freaked me out and so we went in.
It's negative, whew!  At least for now (that's what they said to me so we are watching her).
Wahoo!

******************************************
To announce the shoe has been found and returned to its rightful foot (wahoo!) and I may or may not be headed to the pediatrician's office in an hour to have one of my children tested for SWINE flu!
Keep your fingers crossed and be glad you can't catch it while blog surfing!

Glad the shoe was found :)
I live in Oregon and they dont want anyone to go in to the dr's unless its urgent. Maybe there are just too many sickies around here! They have you talk to someone over the phone and then they say "yep, sounds like the H1N1. Bummer." LOL.

Yay for the shoe finding its way home. Hope the kiddo is H1N1-free.

I am definitely keeping my fingers crossed for you. A co-worker of mine just had her son tested and it came back negative. I guess some other bug is going around that has very similar symptoms. Not a good thing for us parents! Yeah for finding the shoe!

That is awesome about the shoe. So sorry about the possible flu. We have fevers over here too.

I'm hoping for a negative on the swine flu.

I will sleep so much better when the vaccination hits these parts. Having a newborn only exacerbates my worry!

I didn't know that people are supposed to take their kids in to be tested for the swine flu if they are sick. Are most people doing that or did your doctor specifically recommend it?

Baloney said...

My pediatrician says you're either going to catch the swine flu or be vaccinated for it. So I caved and did the swine flu mist on my boys. Gotta get mine soon since I have asthma. I'm a little panicked?
