The Great Pumpkin

We do things real basic here in these neck of the woods.
Fancy carving kits? Ha! not us.  We just use a basic steak knife and some tender loving care.

Pumpkin
I think our advanced carving skills should be entered in a contest or something.  We would totally win. Totally.

I have to get a carver, as the weatherman forbade me from murdering anymore steak knifes!

That's the way we do it around here too. Keep it simple baby! That one is quite perfect...

I agree- very nice!
I should be posting our pumpkin carvings sometime this week. Mine was so hard- everyone was done before me and I started before everyone else LOL

This is the perfect, classic pumpkin and I do it exactly the same way, so of course I think you should win a contest. For carving, or wiping your own butt, whatever.

We carved a pumpkin very similar to the one you guys carved! Some times less is more. Just a good ole jack-o-lantern is always a good choice!
